A short devotional from our pastoral team to encourage you in your walk with Jesus this month.
If this season has felt heavy, you are not alone, and you are not forgotten. Scripture is full of reminders that God draws near to the weary and the worn down, not because they have it all together, but precisely because they do not.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest,” Jesus said. That invitation is not reserved for the strong or the spiritually impressive. It is for the tired, the doubting, and the ones who feel like they are barely holding on.
Rest, in God’s economy, is not earned. It is received. This week, instead of striving to prove yourself, try simply coming as you are, to prayer, to Scripture, to the gathered church, and let God do the carrying.
You are loved more than you know, by a God who is closer than you think. Hold on to that this month.
