Behind the Scenes of a Sunday

All updates

Meet the volunteers who make our Sunday gatherings happen and hear why they love serving the church.

Long before the first song on a Sunday morning, a small army of volunteers is already at work. Doors are unlocked, coffee is brewing, slides are loaded, and the welcome team is praying over the seats before anyone arrives. By the time you walk in, dozens of people have already given their morning so that you can encounter Jesus.

We asked a few of our volunteers why they keep showing up early. “I serve because someone served me when I had nothing to give,” one of our hospitality team told us. “Now I get to be that person for someone else.” That spirit runs through every team, kids ministry, car park, production, and prayer.

Serving is not about filling a roster. It is one of the most reliable places we see people grow in confidence, friendship, and faith. The people who serve tend to be the people who feel most at home.

If you have been attending for a while and are wondering what your next step is, this might be it. There is a team that would love to have you, and no experience is required, just a willingness to show up.
